Why We Decided To Raise Our Seed Round on WeFunder

A letter from the founders to you.

Dear Friends,

We are Alexander Irvine and John Jung — the proud co-founders of Brick Work. Over two years ago we decided to work together to provide both real estate brokers and developers a better and more cost effective way to obtain zoning due diligence meaning essentially what they can or can’t build in Los Angeles.

We have put our own money into this, and have been hustling hard to grow it ever since. Real estate housing development is growing rapidly along with prop-tech and construction tech innovation. We are excited about our future.

We are raising investment funds to capitalize on the opportunity in front of us. We could raise this money from institutional investors, or millionaires and billionaires. But we want to raise it from you — the customers and community who have supported us on every step of our journey. Just as we started this company, in part, to stimulate our local economy and create jobs, we want to offer ordinary people here (and throughout the country) to benefit from the wealth that our growth creates.

We are not asking for a donation here. This is not Kickstarter. We are inviting you to be *investors in Brick Work. As we grow the company, you make a financial return on your investment.

If you have any questions or feedback, we would love to hear from you.

Together, let’s build a world class brand that’s owned by We, the People.

*Our raise is currently in “testing the waters” mode while we finalize our paperwork and SEC filings, so you’ll only be making a reservation – not actually investing yet. Once we file everything in the coming weeks, you’ll be able to confirm your investment.

If you have any questions about the investment or company, I’m always available.
